Landen Godsey Matching Fund Project
In February 2020 we hosted a Matching Fund project for Landen Godsey. Landen lost his mother, father and home during a tornado in December of 2019 while suffering life- threatening injuries himself. Several of our chapters joined together to host a matching fund project to raise money for Landen on the courthouse square in Moulton, Alabama. People came from all over the state to attend the all-day event and donate to the "Landen Strong" drive. Our goal for the day was $20,000; when it was all said and done, we'd raised over $57,000 to help build Landen a new home when he got out of the hospital! It was a day that I will never forget!
