Why I do what I do

I enjoy working with…

families, individuals of all ages, those approaching retirement and small-business owners.

I attended…

the University of Georgia.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization, not only for how it supports members to reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.

The best part of my career is…

helping my members. Whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I understood the importance of the plans I help members put in place.

Also…

Developing a strong relationship with my members is imperative to my success at educating many about financial freedom.

“A big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worrying about the what-ifs of life.”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my husband, Eric, and my daughter, Grace.

In my free time, you can find me…

spending time with my family and friends, cooking, playing tennis, visiting our farm in Kentucky, and even cutting the grass. Yes, I love cutting the grass!

I’m passionate about…

living each day with my family and friends to the fullest.

My personal motto is…

Be thankful of the air that God has given you to breath, as you never know when it can be taken from you.

Community impact

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

9 years.

What I like best about my community is…

how we all come together to support and lift each other up.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

planning and developing community activities.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

providing dinner for a group of teachers.

Financial tip -- start small. The best way to attain a goal is to start small. If you have a large goal in mind, like buying a new home or saving for retirement, think about it in bite-sized chunks. For example, set a minimum amount you'd like to save each month, or strive to meet your budget. Small actions can add up. Need help? Meet with me to build a plan.
