Modern Woodmen has two scholarship competitions -- one open exclusively to high school seniors AND one for members age 21 and up. The applications for both open next month. Contact me to learn more or visit: https://www.modernwoodmen.org/memberprograms/

Last week I joined Modern Woodmen reps from across our region to help Emily's Hope – a South Dakota-based nonprofit created to remove the stigma of substance use disorder and reduce financial barriers to treatment and recovery. We purchased items and assembled approximately 2,000 naloxone kits for donation to communities across the state. If you would like more information about Emily's Hope, visit their website. https://emilyshope.charity/

At the recent South Dakota National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors state convention, I was honored to receive the Edward H. Downs Memorial Award. Ed Downs was a trailblazer in the life insurance industry and serving in leadership roles across state and national organizations. He was deeply committed to public service, holding office in the South Dakota Senate for four terms and contributing to countless civic groups. His legacy reflects a life of integrity, leadership, and dedication to both his profession and his community.
