Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

because financial security is important to me. I grew up poor, and I want to help families and individuals get out of poverty.

I serve members in…

Missouri.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance and annuities.

I enjoy working with…

families, young couples, small-businesses and self-employed business owners.

I attended…

the University of Central Missouri.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

was a student and worked in the service industry for three years.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

of fraternalism. I connected with its core values and how, like my years of involvement in Greek life at UCM, we care about making an impact in the lives of others.

The best part of my career is…

helping people secure their financial futures.

“Modern Woodmen membership is about relationships. We take time to get to know you and your needs. Get to know me and how we might connect.”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my girlfriend, Jules, and two dogs, Moose and Prince.

In my free time, you can find me…

playing video games, training jiu-jitsu and hanging out with my dogs.

I’m passionate about…

my family and friends, my faith and having a good time.

My greatest blessing is…

my supportive family.

My personal motto is…

the Golden Rule!

My hidden talent is…

I'm a great cook. I'm also a jack of all trades – I can pick up just about anything fairly quickly.

Community impact

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for over 5 years.

What I like best about my community is…

it's fairly easy-going. Everyone is so helpful.

I’m a member of…

Phi Sigma Kappa.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

trash cleanup and anything with kids, such as the Special Olympics and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

service events, local chapters and youth service clubs, Matching Fund events and the Do-Good Grant®.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

I helped a sweetheart of Phi Sigma Kappa and gave rides for their dad to go to his cancer treatments. We helped a family that needed our support as we raised their spirits.

Last month we held our 45th National Convention in Orlando, Florida. Nearly 200 member delegates came together to lead, serve and shape our future. Together, they: · Reviewed our bylaws and reflected on our financial and fraternal progress from 2022–2026. · Elected our board of directors and officers to guide us in the years ahead. · Gave back to the Orlando community by raising funds and packing essential bags for Miles To Go, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. The event was a meaningful reminder of the strength of our mission and the impact we can make together.
