My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

my entire life.

What I like best about my community is…

the strong sense of connection and resilience. When times get tough, we come together in support of one another.

I’m a member of…

Putnam County Community Foundation, Women's Leadership Team at SHC, Putnam County 100 Women Who Care, SP Youth League.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

Hands-on service projects to help the local community and discussing financial literacy to improve others’ well-being.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Do-Good Grant projects, scholarships and the Orphan Support Benefit.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

raising money for an after-school program supporting at-risk girls.

Q: Can you guess what this piece of Modern Woodmen history was used for? A: This reversible badge was worn by members from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. The colorful side was worn during chapter meetings and social activities. The reverse side was black and would be worn at funerals and memorials for deceased members of that chapter. #ModernSince1883
