I had the privilege of recognizing the incredible team at Food for Hope as Modern Woodmen Hometown Heroes — and honestly, there couldn’t be a more deserving group. Every single day, this team works tirelessly to ensure that children and families in our community have access to something so many of us take for granted: a meal. They provide food to kids who might otherwise go to bed hungry, deliver weekend meal bags to students in need, and help families get through tough times with dignity and care. What strikes me most is how much heart they put into everything they do. This isn’t just a job or a program — it’s a mission. They see the faces behind the need, and they show up for them again and again. That kind of compassion ripples out and changes lives in ways we’ll never fully see. It was truly an honor to celebrate and thank them for the incredible impact they make every single day.
