I am so blessed to make a living by helping others and their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked in banking for more than five years. I grew tired of the corporate sales environment and decided to open my own financial practice to serve as a representative with comprehensive planning.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I not only help provide financial security for my members, but also support my community through fraternal member benefits and offerings.

The best part of my career is…

being able to help people. I love that I work with members to help them develop and implement long-term financial plans. My goal is to build relationships. You're not a number; you're a neighbor.

my wife and business partner, Amanda, our four awesome kids, Carder, Claire, Wesley, and Elijah, and our dog, Boone.

In my free time, you can find me…

on the golf course or at the lake. I love riding motorcycles, flying planes, and spending time with my family.

My personal motto is…

something that I borrowed from Winston Churchill: "We make a living by what we get; we make a life by what we give." We all have various gifts and talents, and we need to be good stewards of them.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when we partnered with the high school to raise money for a family who lost a child to cancer and needed help with medical and funeral expenses. This was one of the first Matching Fund projects I helped with, and I'll never forget that experience.
