We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:
answering the call for our local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, working with our education foundations and classroom teachers, supporting our first responders and military, and recognizing the unsung heroes who work to make central and southern Indiana a more enjoyable place for families to thrive.
There’s a quiet kind of growth that doesn’t always show up where people expect. It’s not just in numbers— but in recognition. In conversations. In handshakes. Over the last few years, we’ve been steadily building: 119 new members in 2022. 211 in 2023. 276 in 2024. 388 in 2025. That’s real growth. But here’s what’s been interesting… Two years ago, one person walked through our doors looking for guidance. Last year, it was four. This year, we’re already at three—and we’re just getting started. Not because they were referred. Not because someone told them to. But because they knew who we were… and what we stood for. We’re not just growing. We’re being seen.
