How we make a difference

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

as community leaders, we believe it’s our responsibility.

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

answering the call for our local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, working with our education foundations and classroom teachers, supporting our first responders and military, and recognizing the unsung heroes who work to make central and southern Indiana a more enjoyable place for families to thrive.

Your District Agent... Meet Stacy Riddle. Encourager. Neighbor. Spark. She’s Jubilation Lee!! Or you may know her as X-Men’s Jubilee. Stacy brings contagious optimism, genuine warmth, and an infectious energy that naturally lifts those around her. Her enthusiasm reminds us that encouragement can be one of the greatest gifts we offer another person. Before joining Modern Woodmen of America, Stacy built her career serving others as a dental assistant before transitioning into supplemental insurance. Those experiences reinforced what has always come naturally to her—building relationships, listening well, and helping families navigate important decisions with confidence. Today, she specializes in serving young families, helping them understand it's never too early to begin preparing for the future. Stacy believes financial security isn't simply about protecting today—it's about creating opportunities for tomorrow. "I love that Modern Woodmen is so passionate about supporting and investing in the local communities where our members live." A lifelong Johnson County resident, Stacy and her husband are raising four children in the same community they proudly call home. Whether cheering from the baseball stands, enjoying a concert, tackling another home improvement project, or simply spending time outdoors together, family remains at the center of everything they do. Clients often describe Stacy as honest, energetic, and approachable. She has an incredible ability to make people feel comfortable while guiding them through some of life's most important financial decisions. "What makes me proud to work with our team is the way we show up for one another.  We support each other, celebrate each other's successes, and step in when someone needs a helping hand." Whether serving young families, encouraging teammates, or giving back to the community she loves, Stacy leads with empathy, positivity, and a sincere desire to help others flourish. That’s Jubilee. That’s Stacy. Confidence. Connection. Joy. Congratulations, Stacy, on the positive influence you continue to have on your team, your members, your community, and—most importantly—your family. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Your Community Outreach & Fraternal Coordinator... Meet Michelle Badolato. Connector. Mobilizer. Multiplier. If you know Michelle, then you know why Pepper Potts is perfect. Like Pepper, Michelle understands that extraordinary things rarely happen because of one person. They happen because someone quietly brings people together, empowers others to lead, and transforms vision into action. For the past five years, Michelle has helped transform the Jackson Division's commitment to community into meaningful action. As our Community Outreach and Fraternal Coordinator, she works alongside nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and community partners to ensure our members don't simply talk about making a difference—they actively live it. Michelle believes lasting impact is never created by one person. No - It's created when people discover they have the ability to change someone else's life. Whether coordinating service projects, strengthening community partnerships, or encouraging others to get involved, Michelle has a remarkable gift for helping people recognize that their time, talents, and generosity truly matter. "What I enjoy most about Modern Woodmen is our ability to give back to the people and organizations serving the underserved and underrepresented throughout our local communities." Before joining Modern Woodmen, Michelle spent several years overseas, investing countless hours volunteering in her children's schools and serving wherever life took her family. Since returning to Johnson County, she has continued to grow as a leader—graduating from Leadership Johnson County's Signature Program and recently stepping well outside her comfort zone by participating in ASSIST Indiana's Dancing with the Johnson County Stars. Together with her husband, Tony, their children Christian and Lexi, and their dog Guinness, Michelle continues to invest deeply in the organizations and people who make Johnson County such a special place to call home. "What makes me most proud of our Jackson Division is knowing the work we do is bigger than ourselves." That’s Pepper. That’s Michelle. Empowerment. Connection. Hope. Congratulations, Michelle, on the countless lives you've touched and the stronger community you've helped build through your servant leadership. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #ModernWoodmenofAmerica #ThisIsMWA #ThisIsUsMWA #MakeAnImpact #MakeADifference #PeopleHelpingPeople #CommunityMatters #FraternalLife #GiveBack #MWAInTheCommunity #PurposeDrivenWork #BeAHero

Your Administrative Professional... Meet Sydney Archuleta. Creative. Resourceful. Dependable. Meet Agent Carter. Like Peggy, Sydney combines intelligence, resourcefulness, and quiet determination with an unwavering commitment to helping others succeed. She reminds us that some of the most influential people in any organization aren't always standing in front of the camera—they're the ones making everyone else shine. Every successful team has someone quietly making everything work. For the Jackson Division, that's Sydney. Before joining Modern Woodmen, Sydney served as an Emergency Manager in the United States Air Force—a role that demanded organization, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Today, she serves as the administrative heartbeat of our district and division; helping ensure our financial professionals have everything they need to better serve the families and communities who place their trust in us. While Sydney is known around the office for her quick wit and contagious sense of humor, it's her servant's heart that truly sets her apart. She notices the details. She anticipates needs before they're spoken. And she has an incredible ability to make everyone around her better. "What I enjoy most about working at Modern Woodmen is having a career that allows me to actively give back to our community." Outside of work, Sydney enjoys painting, crafting, reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband, their young son, and their dog. She believes life's greatest moments are often the simplest ones—especially when they're shared with the people you love. "One of the things I'm most proud of about our Jackson Division is being surrounded by people who genuinely care about lifting one another up." That’s Agent Carter. That’s Sydney. Stability. Preparedness. Support. Congratulations, Sydney, on the countless ways you strengthen our team and the difference you make for every one of us - every single day. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #ModernWoodmenofAmerica #ThisIsMWA #ThisIsUsMWA #MakeAnImpact #MakeADifference #PeopleHelpingPeople #CommunityMatters #FraternalLife #GiveBack #MWAInTheCommunity #PurposeDrivenWork #BeAHero

Your Financial Representative... Meet Kegan Owen. Loyal. Selfless. Steadfast. This young man is our Cyclops - Marvel X-Men’s first field leader. Like Scott Summers, Kegan understands that leadership isn't about seeking the spotlight—it's about earning trust, setting the standard, and helping the people around you become better together. Before joining Modern Woodmen, Kegan helped manage his family's business while building a successful career in financial services. Today, he works out of our Greenwood office; serves individuals, families, and business owners throughout Greenwood, Franklin, Bargersville, and the Indianapolis metro area. Whether helping a family prepare for retirement or guiding a business owner toward long-term success, Kegan believes every great financial plan begins with one thing: Trust. His clients appreciate the relationships he builds, the education he provides, and the professionalism he brings to every conversation. He understands that financial planning isn't about selling products—it's about earning confidence. "What I enjoy most about working with Modern Woodmen is helping people achieve their financial goals while making a positive impact in our community." Outside the office, Kegan is the oldest of seven siblings, a former collegiate basketball player, and an Ironman 70.3 finisher. His faith and close-knit family continue to shape the way he leads both personally and professionally. Whether spending time at the lake with friends or encouraging those around him to become their very best, Kegan approaches life with the same discipline, consistency, and humility that define his work. "What makes our Jackson Division special is that everyone makes each other better. We know we can rely on one another, and that kind of teamwork is hard to find." That’s Scott Summers. That’s Kegan Owen. Influence. Excellence. Trust. Congratulations, Kegan, on the leader you’re becoming for your team, your members, your community and your family. Be Curious. Be Confident.
