How we make a difference

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

as community leaders, we believe it’s our responsibility.

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

answering the call for our local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, working with our education foundations and classroom teachers, supporting our first responders and military, and recognizing the unsung heroes who work to make central and southern Indiana a more enjoyable place for families to thrive.

This is Us. The Jackson Division. Over the past four years, we've grown into one of the fastest-growing firms within our organization across the country. Our footprint has expanded from just two financial representatives to more than twenty professionals serving communities throughout Indiana. Along the way, we've opened three new offices, established a presence in more than fifteen communities, welcomed over 1,200 new members, and helped generate more than $5 million in additional resources for nonprofit organizations across our Hoosier state. And this is only the beginning. Over the next several weeks, I'd like to introduce you to the incredible people who make up our team—their stories, their passions, the communities they serve, and the unique gifts they bring to this profession (in the form of Marvel superheroes). May it remind all of you out there: Great organizations aren't built by products. They're built by people. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. THESE GUYS…?! This past week, our Jackson District had the privilege of welcoming experts from the home office - Josh LoDico, David Brus, and Cody Swearinger - to our monthly divisional meeting. They invested their time helping us better understand the products and planning strategies available through Modern Woodmen of America—not simply so we'd know more, but so we could serve the individuals, families, and business owners who trust us at an even higher level. The best professionals never assume they've arrived. They remain students of their craft, seek out expertise, ask better questions, and continually look for ways to grow. As we head into the weekend, I can't think of three better people to celebrate than Josh, David, and Cody. Thank you for sharing your expertise, challenging our thinking, and investing in our team. We appreciate all that you do behind the scenes to help us better serve the people who matter most. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. p.s. Fraternal First. Always. One of the things I appreciate most about Modern Woodmen of America is that our commitment to serving others isn't just something we talk about—it's woven into who we are. Earlier this summer, I was incredibly proud to watch Michelle Badolato represent Indiana at our National Convention as she introduced one of our newly elected National Board Directors. Moments like these are a reminder that leadership isn't simply about holding a title. It's about serving with humility, representing others well, and advancing a mission that's bigger than ourselves. Michelle, thank you for representing our team, our state, and our fraternal values with such professionalism and grace. Fraternal First. Always. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Every year, I'm reminded just how fortunate I am to serve alongside remarkable people. That said, I'd like to congratulate Dustin Robbins, James Wasmundt, Amanda Meyer, and Collin Bopp on earning the opportunity to represent our team at our organization's National Sales Conference. Your commitment to your members, your communities, and your profession continues to set a wonderful example. I'd also like to recognize Michelle Badolato and Marilyn Kellum, who had the distinct honor of representing Indiana as delegates at our National Convention. Thank you both for your leadership, your servant hearts, and for representing our state with such professionalism and integrity. What makes me proud isn't simply the recognition—it's the people receiving it… not because of what they’ve accomplished, but because of the character they demonstrate every day. Thank you all for representing our team, your members, and the state of Indiana so well. Congratulations, everyone. Here's to what's ahead! Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive.
