How we make a difference

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

as community leaders, we believe it’s our responsibility.

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

answering the call for our local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, working with our education foundations and classroom teachers, supporting our first responders and military, and recognizing the unsung heroes who work to make central and southern Indiana a more enjoyable place for families to thrive.

Current insights

Current insights

There’s a quiet kind of growth that doesn’t always show up where people expect. It’s not just in numbers— but in recognition. In conversations. In handshakes. In moments where people start to understand who you are and what you stand for. And to be clear—this hasn’t happened overnight. Over the last few years, we’ve been steadily building: 119 new members in 2022. 211 in 2023. 276 in 2024. 388 in 2025. That’s real growth. But here’s what’s been interesting… Two years ago, one person walked through our doors looking for guidance. Last year, it was four. This year, we’re already at three—and we’re just getting started. Not because they were referred. Not because someone told them to. But because they knew who we were… and what we stood for. We’re not just growing. We’re being seen. From caffeine crawls to community causes, our members know their money does more than work hard… …it works here. Because when you believe in where you live, you invest in more than returns. You invest in people. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #ThisIsMWA #ModernWoodmenofAmerica #CommunityMatters #PeopleHelpingPeople #MakeAnImpact #StrongerTogether

There’s something powerful about being in the room with people who operate at a high level. Not loud. Not forced. Just… different. Grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Eszylfie Taylor at the Fast Start Forum — and to Tom Wall for creating an environment that brings people like this together. Eszylfie is the kind of professional you notice right away. Polished. Personable. Deliberate in how he shows up. The kind of person who elevates the room without saying a word. Looking forward to crossing paths again and learning more from one of the best in the business. Because proximity matters. You don’t rise to your goals. You rise to the standard of the people around you. Iron sharpens iron. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #Excellence #IndustryLeaders #GrowthMindset #ProfessionalDevelopment #LeadershipMatters #ProximityMatters #GrowthMindset #HighPerformance #LevelUp #ThinkDifferent #PerspectiveShift

Work hard. Play hard. No—really. We mean it. Because environments like this don’t happen by accident. They’re built by people who show up every day with a standard — not just for results, but for how they work, how they compete, and how they carry themselves. The wins are earned. The growth is real. And the celebration? That’s just the byproduct. What makes a culture like this special isn’t the awards. It’s the people. The ones who push you. Challenge you. Refuse to let you settle. And at the same time… know how to enjoy the moment when the work is done. Because when you surround yourself with people like that, something changes. You don’t just perform better. You become better. Proud of this team. Proud of the work. And even more excited for what’s ahead. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #WorkCulture #Excellence #ProfessionalGrowth #Teamwork #WorkHardPlayHard #CareerJourney #TeamMWA #ModernWoodmenofAmerica #CelebratingSuccess #GrowthInAction #EarnedNotGiven #RaisingTheStandard #ProudOfTheTeam
