1 week. 450+ professionals. Unlimited knowledge. But what mattered most wasn’t the number. It was the decision to be there. Amanda Laney. Amanda Meyer. Collin Bopp. Three financial professionals who chose to step away from the day-to-day, invest in themselves, and sharpen their craft. Not because it’s required. Because it matters. Grateful for the time in Ft. Lauderdale at the Fast Start Forum — learning from some of the best and being reminded how much more there is to master. Huge thank you to Tom Wall and his team for creating environments that sharpens thinking, elevates standards, and raises the level of execution.” The truth is… Growth like this doesn’t happen on accident. It happens when you decide it’s worth it. Proud of this team. Excited for what’s ahead. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Attending my last conference, I had the privilege of hearing Michael Phelps speak. He’s one of the most intense human beings I’ve ever encountered. Not the kind of intensity that shouts — the kind that radiates control. Like the ocean — calm on the surface but raging with power underneath. Listening to him, two truths became clear. Greatness is built in places no one sees. The medals, the records, the championships — those are just the visible evidence. The real work happens long before the lights come on. We’ve all heard that before. But hearing it isn’t the same as living it. Early mornings. Relentless discipline. The quiet decision to improve when nobody is watching. Pursue that long enough and something deeper happens. You stop trying to prove something — and you start transforming into someone different. And 2. that transformation has a cost. Your priorities change. Your habits sharpen. Your tolerance for mediocrity disappears. What once felt normal no longer fits. When Michael talked about the people he surrounds himself with — his inner circle — it reinforced something I’ve come to believe more strongly over time: This mindset isn’t unique to Olympic athletes. It’s the same mindset that drives exceptional leaders, teams, and organizations in every field. You don’t need Olympic medals to experience it. But if you pursue excellence long enough, it will shape who you become — and the company you keep. That’s why the people who live this way tend to recognize each other quickly. And the truth is… I’ve grown to really value being around people like that. People who understand the discipline. The sacrifice. The quiet work behind the scenes. If you’re one of those people — someone who knows what it means to commit deeply to something that matters — I’d enjoy grabbing coffee sometime. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Much Love & Cheers. #LeadershipMatters #PerspectiveShift #Discipline #HighPerformance #MindsetMatters #ChallengeTheNorm #ThinkDifferent

There’s something powerful about watching true craftsmanship in action. In a world that moves fast and cuts corners, it stands out when someone slows down and gets it right. Because quality isn’t accidental. It’s chosen. Stitch by stitch. Detail by detail. No shortcuts. No compromises. That’s what separates the amateur from the professional. The professional from the master. The master sees what others don’t. What most people would miss… they refuse to ignore. Every line. Every fit. Every small imperfection that could be better. And they fix it. Not for recognition. Not for applause. Because that’s the standard. Here’s to the craftsmanship mindset: 🔹 Do it right 🔹 Do it with intention 🔹 Do it without cutting corners Because “good enough” is where most people stop. And true professionals know — the craft deserves better than that. Be Curious. Be Confident. Be Competitive. Be Kind. #UnapologeticallyFraternal Huge shout out to our local tailor, owner and operator of Main Street Alterations in Old Town Greenwood! Thank you for always taking care of me and my team! Much Love & Cheers. #Craftsmanship #Leadership #Excellence #QualityWork #GrowthMindset #ProfessionalPride #HighStandards #Discipline #ExcellenceInTheDetails #NoShortcuts #DoItRight #BuiltDifferent

We talk about stewardship like it’s a checkbox or a technical standard. In reality, it’s far more human — and far more demanding — than anything written on paper. At its core, stewardship is about being entrusted with something that isn’t yours — someone’s trust, their resources, their future — and choosing to care for it with intention. It shows up when decisions aren’t obvious and pressure is high — when doing the right thing means choosing the harder path. It’s a commitment to place someone else’s best interest above your own, consistently and without exception. It looks like clear communication — so people are never left guessing. It looks like slowing down when others rush. It looks like choosing clarity over convenience. It’s showing up prepared. Earning trust instead of assuming it. Taking ownership — especially when it’s uncomfortable. Because people aren’t just names on a page. They’re individuals with goals, fears, responsibilities, and futures they’re trusting you to help shape. On paper, stewardship can sound like a principle. In practice, it’s a posture. A daily discipline. It’s not about checking a box. It’s about how you show up when it matters most. It’s character. It’s responsibility. It’s doing the right thing — even when no one will ever know.
