Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I have a passion for helping my members achieve their financial goals while also giving back to my community.

I serve members in…

Iowa, Nebraska, Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

new families, small-business owners and those approaching retirement.

I attended…

Long Island University.

I am very proud of…

my commitment to my members and my community.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked in financial billing for the last nine years.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I like how focused we are members, families and employees. We're like one big family.

The best part of my career is…

I feel good knowing I help make a positive impact on my members' lives.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I saw how members appreciated the financial knowledge I shared with them. Many people don't know enough about life insurance, so educating them on the importance of having protection means a lot to me.

“Modern Woodmen membership is about relationships. We take time to get to know you and your needs. Get to know me and how we might connect.”

Some things are bigger than a certificate, they become a family tradition. One of our members recently shared how his parents started a life insurance certificate for him when he was young. Now, years later, he sees the value of that gift and is continuing the tradition by taking one out for his own child. That’s the power of planning ahead: protecting the people you love today while creating a legacy for tomorrow. Moments like this are a reminder that life insurance isn’t just about coverage, it’s about care, foresight, and family values passed from one generation to the next. We are thankful and congratulate Cody on his new certificate and thank him for his continued trust in Modern Woodmen. #FamilyTradition #LifeInsurance #ProtectWhatMatters #LegacyPlanning

Our shipments are beginning to arrive! Gearing up for our 2026 Regional Impact Challenge in July! Stay tuned for more updates on what Modern Woodmen fraternal is doing for our communities state wide!

One of the best parts of what I get to do as a Modern Woodmen rep is creating opportunities for our members to come together, have fun, and learn something new! Recently, we hosted a pickleball event, and it was such a great time! 🏓 From first-timers to future pros, it was all about trying something new, sharing some laughs, and building stronger relationships along the way. This is exactly what being a Modern Woodmen member is all about. Community, connection, and experiences you don’t get just anywhere. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved or checking out what we’re all about, I’d love to have you join us at a future event!

There’s something special about showing up for the next generation. Our Modern Woodmen Chapter had the opportunity to donate items to Terry Redlin Elementary School in support of their mentorship program. Helping create meaningful connections and positive guidance for students. The need for mentorship in our schools is real, and growing. So many kids just need someone in their corner, someone to listen, encourage, and believe in them. It’s more than a program… it’s impact that can shape a life.
