Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I’m passionate about helping my members determine their financial goals. We work together to create a plan based on their unique needs.

I serve members in…

northern Georgia.

I enjoy working with…

individuals, families, small-business owners, and people who are approaching retirement.

I attended…

Liberty University.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

retired after 20 years in the United States Army.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization and how its products support the financial goals of its members while making a significant impact in communities.

The best part of my career is…

helping members feel confident in their financial security and impacting the community organizations they care about.

“Modern Woodmen membership is about relationships. We take time to get to know you and your needs. Get to know me and how we might connect.”

My favorite volunteer activities are…

at the food bank. I also enjoy community cleanups and visiting residents in local nursing homes.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Rabun County Schools Teacher Appreciation Week

With the first week of May being Teacher Appreciation Week, Financial Representative Justin Howe delivered doughnuts and coffee to all four Rabun County Public Schools as a small token of appreciation. This year's fraternal focus at Moden Woodmen is "All in for Education," and we look forward to continuing support for teachers and staff at all our area schools.

Orphan Support Benefit | Modern Woodmen

What happens to your kids if BOTH parents are gone? This is one of the hardest conversations I have with families -- and one of the most important. That's why I share options that go beyond life insurance. When you become a Modern Woodmen member with a life insurance or annuity contract, you'll have access to the Orphan Support Benefit. This program provides financial support for the care and education of qualifying children who lose both parents. Contact me to learn more. https://www.modernwoodmen.org/my-membership/member-benefits/orphan-benefit/?utm_source=hearsay_site&utm_medium=1328444&utm_campaign=3268005

Last month we held our 45th National Convention in Orlando, Florida. Nearly 200 member delegates came together to lead, serve and shape our future. Together, they: · Reviewed our bylaws and reflected on our financial and fraternal progress from 2022–2026. · Elected our board of directors and officers to guide us in the years ahead. · Gave back to the Orlando community by raising funds and packing essential bags for Miles To Go, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. The event was a meaningful reminder of the strength of our mission and the impact we can make together.
