It was a pleasure to host an ice cream social with Gabby Beebe at Marty B's Ice Cream. We had so much fun visiting with everyone and the ice cream was fantastic. One of the highlights of this community event was recognizing 3 incredible individuals with our Hometown Hero Awards. Eddie Fischer with the How U Doin Foundation, Jody Bellinghausen with Argyle Seniors, and Judy Davanport with Argyle Lions each give so much of their time, energy and heart to making our community a better place. It was an honor to recognize them and make a $100 donation to the charity of their choice. We are grateful for people who quietly make a difference every day.
