Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I’m passionate about helping my members determine their financial goals. We work together to create a plan based on their unique needs.
I serve members in…
all parts of South Carolina. I’m also licensed in Florida, South Carolina and Virginia.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
investments, annuities, life insurance for children and adults, college savings plans and retirement planning tools. I specialize in employee benefit planning.
I enjoy working with…
anyone who looks forward to establishing financial goals for their future! This includes small-business owners and their employees, newlyweds, families with children, and those approaching retirement.
I attended…
Chatham Central High School in Bear Creek, North Carolina, and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration degree. In 2022, I earned my Master of Business Education degree with an emphasis in finance from Fayetteville State University.
I am very proud of…
my professional and academic accomplishments, as well as raising my children. In 2022, I also delivered a healthy baby boy via surrogacy. Being a surrogate and creating life for a deserving family is something I am very proud of. Outside of having my own children, it was by far the best thing I've ever done with my life!
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
was an adviser for an online web marketing firm. It allowed me to work from home while completing my degrees and spending valuable time with my children.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I believe in the organization -- not only for how it supports members to reach their financial goals, but also for how it supports our community by allowing me to give back, both financially and through volunteering.
The best part of my career is…
the relationships I build with my members. Whether we're planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives. I cherish each relationship with my members.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I understood the importance of the plans I help members create. Many of my members have achieved their goals and secured financial protection for life's what-ifs. Delivering a death benefit to a member’s loved one is never easy, but it is also very rewarding to know I provided support the family will need. Ultimately, I provide survivors with space and time to grieve. Moments like this are irreplaceable.
