Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

I serve members in…

Georgia.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance and annuities.

I enjoy working with…

individuals, families, those approaching retirement and small-business owners.

I attended…

Georgia State University.

I am very proud of…

being a U.S. Navy veteran.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked in patient advocacy at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta and managed restaurants.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization - not only for how I can support members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it allows me to support and be a part of the communities that I serve through fraternal activities. Fraternalism is a big part of what I do, and I'm just so proud to be part of an organization that gives back.

The best part of my career is…

helping members -- whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance -- while making a positive impact on the communities that I serve through fraternal programs.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

There have been many over the years that I have been affiliated with Modern Woodmen. I am always excited when I'm able to develop a more comprehensive plan for a member family, using a combination of financial products and giving them peace of mind. I have also enjoyed doing Matching Fund projects through my two fraternal member chapters, where we've been able to really help individuals in need.

Also…

I am the activities coordinator for Modern Woodmen Chapter 16576, Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, and I help with activities for Modern Woodmen Chapter 12185 in Newnan, Georgia.

My life outside of work

My family includes…

Rachel, Alex and Nicolas.

In my free time, you can find me…

in the gym, reading philosophy, hiking in Cochran Mill Park, restoring old cast iron or playing with our two dogs, Bailey and Levi.

I’m passionate about…

ensuring that people can grieve with dignity during the already difficult times of losing a loved one. By helping them protect their assets and save, I can help them be more prepared to enjoy a long retirement should they experience longevity.

My personal motto is…

Endeavor to deserve success.

Chattahoochee Hills fraternalism

Members of the Chattahoochee Hills Chapter (16576) have opportunities to volunteer in the community, attend educational events and socialize during chapter outings. We have completed many service projects, such as partnering with Community Brickworks to build a nature trail/playground at the Rico Ballfield while also supporting T-ball and coach pitch teams. We've also made annual food drive donations to the local food banks and during the holidays, we have adopted several families to provide Christmas gifts to children. Also, we have provided holiday meal boxes, including turkeys, for food-insecure families. We have done many Matching Fund projects to help individuals in need. One of them helped a 4- year-old girl get cochlear implant surgery to help her hear.
