What is the secret to success? Motivation! Our last career fair at Cal Poly Pomona is a great example. The rain did not stop the students/alumni's from showing up to the outdoors event to meet with us and speak about their future career. I remember being a student and soccer athlete, attending career fairs and looking for my next opportunity. That’s how I first connected with Modern Woodmen. Now, I have the pleasure to be on the other side, visiting schools and looking for talented individuals. Yesterday I visited Chapman University to speak with students and alumni about how they can build their careers with Modern Woodmen. Words cannot express how heartbreaking it is seeing the devastations caused by the fires in California. To support our community, we were able to organize 3 different trips to Los Angeles County to assist impacted families, National Guards and first responders. Yesterday, we spent a meaningful day barbecuing and donating to those in need. Our hearts are with everyone impacted by this tragedy. Beyond our local efforts, Modern Woodmen has also contributed $25,000 to the American Red Cross to assist with wildfire relief. ❤️ Members, you may qualify for assistance through Modern Woodmen's Financial Relief Fund.
