Earlier this week we had a pleasure of having Ron Alford and Dan Simon from Southwestern Consulting join our divisional meeting. Ron led a great sales workshop focused on helping our team grow their businesses, strengthen their skills and work towards their goals. Thank you both for your time and for bringing so much value to our team!

On Monday, Victor and I had the opportunity to attend the Trojan Athletics Senior Workshop at the University of Southern California. It was a privilege to speak with such a talented group of student-athletes and share our journeys, how life evolved after sports, and the ways our athletic experiences continue to shape our careers today. The lessons we learned through competition, discipline, teamwork, and resilience have proven invaluable far beyond the playing field. Thank you to USC for the opportunity to connect with the next generation of leaders. We appreciate the chance to share our experiences and hopefully provide some insight as these student-athletes prepare for their own transitions beyond sports.

Earlier this week, Gio Nelson and I had the privilege of spending the day at San Diego State University connecting with student-athletes across multiple teams. It was rewarding to discuss the lessons, challenges, and share our experiences as former athletes who built careers in financial services. We truly appreciated the opportunity to invest in the next generation of leaders and share insights from our experiences. A special thank you to Brenden Hill for organizing this day. We are grateful for this partnership and look forward to spending more time at SDSU!

Last month, our region came together for our annual banquet at the Pelican Hill Resort. Seeing how big this division has become over the past couple of years is pretty incredible, especially knowing how much hard work went into getting here. I’m extremely proud of this group and grateful to be surrounded by people who genuinely care about growing, and doing things the right way. Huge shoutout to Managing Partners Eric Davis and Victor Nwaba for their leadership and commitment. Excited for what’s ahead and thankful for everyone who’s helped get us to this point.
