About me

Who I am at and outside of work

My family includes…

my wife, Missy; daughters, Taylor, Trinity and Gracelynn; son-in-law, Corey; and grandson, Walker.

I'm passionate about…

my faith and my family. I enjoy working within my church and through music and teaching. I also enjoy spending time with my family. As I’ve gotten older, I realize the importance of staying close to those you love.

In my free time you'll probably find me…

watching sports. I bleed orange and am a huge Tennessee Vols fan. I also sing Southern gospel music and with a family trio since I was 17. Though we don’t get to do it often, I love to travel with my family, especially Disney World and the beach. The memories we’ve made are priceless, and I’m thankful for them.

My greatest blessing is…

my family. We have the best time whenever we’re together. Whether through hard times or times we’re laughing so hard we’re crying, I’m blessed with a close immediate and extended family. I wouldn’t trade anything for this type of relationship.

our members and communities. It may sound cliché, but it’s true. We focus every day on making sure we’ve done everything we can to benefit our hometowns. If there’s a need, we want to help find the right solution. When we do that, we’ve done our job.

We're unique because…

we’re a family. Many companies say they are, but our team shows it! We help each other, professionally and personally. Our team members have friendly relationships, laughing and cutting up with one another. There’s nothing like it!

Our current career opportunities include…

financial professionals in every city throughout west Tennessee. Many communities don’t have a local representative, and we want to offer all the services of Modern Woodmen in every one!

We feel it’s important to support the communities we serve because…

together, we can make a difference in the lives of others. At some point, everyone needs help. By serving our communities and neighbors, we can make a positive impact for generations to come.

We feel strongly about supporting our communities at a local level. One way we're able to make a positive impact is through Modern Woodmen activities and programs. We especially enjoy:

Helping local organizations by donating food and supplies for families in need, shelter animals and school children, including supporting sports programs.

We’re most proud of…

how much money and items our team members have donated back to their local communities. When I see pictures of schools, sports programs, members, local fire departments or a fundraiser, it reminds me how Modern Woodmen and our team does so much more than financial planning. That makes me proud.
