worked for more than 17 years as a property and casualty insurance underwriter and more than 30 years as a pastor.

I believe in the organization, not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports the community and allows me another opportunity to give back.

The best part of my career is…

helping my members. Whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I introduce our Dollars and Sense program to children. The excitement on their faces assures me that I am not only helping parents, but encouraging children to learn what it means to be financially literate.


As a pastor, I sat with families in funeral homes only to discover that they did not have enough insurance to bury their loved one. Working with Modern Woodmen, I can help families avoid that unfortunate situation.

my wife, Sheila, and my daughter and son-in-law, Kisha and Patrick, who have blessed us with a wonderful granddaughter, Brittany.
