I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

At Modern Woodmen, our brand colors tell a story. In our early days, members would have jewelry decorated with red (representing life, action), white (pure intentions) or green (eternal life) enamel. Today, our official colors are blue and green, often depicted through sky and land imagery. This expresses our rural roots, while conveying growth and a positive future.

Looking for fun, cost-friendly DIY projects to add some magic to your holidays? Here are five ideas! 1. DIY garland: String together popcorn, cranberries or paper cutouts. 2. Toilet paper roll crafts: Make Santas, reindeer or mini gift boxes. 3. Mini gingerbread houses: Use graham crackers instead of gingerbread. 4. DIY holiday cards: Use stamps, stickers and recycled paper. Upcycled jar gifts: Fill with homemade treats, bath salts or cocoa mix.
