Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I do what I do because I have a passion for helping others achieve financial freedom based on their unique goals. The fraternal platform Modern Woodmen offers also allows me to access another passion of mine: impacting the communities I care about most by giving back.

I serve members in…

North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

different varieties of people. I love working with young families and helping them grow. I also love working with those approaching retirement and small-business owners.

I attended…

University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

I am very proud of…

the opportunity presented to me straight out of college to help others through financial planning and impacting the communities I care about most.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

graduated with a finance degree from the Cameron School of Business. I was fortunate enough to extend my baseball career to the collegiate level with the UNCW Seahawks. After four years of hard work on and off the field I started my financial services practice with Modern Woodmen.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

of the fraternal platform offered. Giving back to the communities I was raised in and have lived in for some time has always been a deep passion of mine. These places made me the person I am today, and I hope the impact I can create will present great opportunities for people who stand in the same shoes I once stood in.

The best part of my career is…

the growing relationships. I have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with people every day and have a positive impact on their lives.

“I serve members in North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina and Pennsylvania.”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my wife, Carly, and our dog, Chandler.

In my free time, you can find me…

on the golf course, spending time with my family and friends, or on a boat at Lake Gaston or Wilmington. My wife and I love to travel and experience new places.

I’m passionate about…

my family, my friends, and my business/clients. I have great support and strive to be the best I can be in all three areas.

My greatest blessing is…

from God, and that's my family and health.

My personal motto is…

"We change when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of changing."

My hidden talent is…

dancing. But you'll be lucky to see it!

Community impact

In the community

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for 18 years until I moved to college.

What I like best about my community is…

the amazing people. It's home and always will be. No one is a stranger and people genuinely care for one another to make difference for our community and others when they need it.

I’m a member of…

Finseca, Chamber of Commerce and NAIFIC (professionally). I'm also a member of New Testament Christian Church.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

those that allow me to work with kids or outside work that's hands-on.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

Matching Fund!

The Matching Fund Program allows members to give back to the community for specific needs. This can be for a well-known local program or for something more specific, like covering medical bills for a recent accident or unfortunate event. Feel free to contact me anytime if you have needs I could help with! I am very excited to get the fraternal chapter started in my new career!
