Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

I serve members in…

the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida and Arizona. I'm always looking to help more great people in the local area and other locations.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

everyone who has a desire to better themselves and their families.

I attended…

University of Wisconsin - Parkside, Gateway Technical College, Kaplan College and The American College.

I am very proud of…

achieving MDRT this last year.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

was involved in the public safety sector. I was a full-time firefighter/EMT for the city of Kenosha.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I do believe in this organization. Modern Woodmen is built for members, not for profit. The way Modern Woodmen gives back and helps the community was something that hit home for me, since my background and my future were focused on helping people. This organization has a level of support to help members with their financial goals and objectives.

The best part of my career is…

the satisfaction I get -- and the satisfaction I can see from the member -- when I know I served them correctly and to the best of my ability.

My life outside of work

In my free time, you can find me…

lifting, going to car shows, exercising, cooking or spending time with family or friends.

I’m passionate about…

excelling in every aspect of life.

My greatest blessing is…

my family and friends.

My personal motto is…

keep pushing forward. That's how winning is done.

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

my entire life. I was born and raised in the city of Kenosha. The Midwest is filled with wonderful people.

I’m a member of…

the Exchange Club of Kenosha.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

the emotion shown when we were able to present a member with a Matching Funds check. The member was very touched.

Ready to declutter your finances? Here are five tips to spring clean your budget. 1. Conduct your own expense audit. Go through the last one to three months of expenses and locate potential wasteful spending. 2. Cancel or reduce subscriptions. Ask yourself if there are any you can downgrade. 3. Set spending caps. Set limits on a few categories – like eating out, shopping or coffee runs – to remain flexible. 4. Map out irregular expenses. Put money aside for things like car repairs, gifts, home maintenance and travel to prepare for the future. 5. Set one budget goal per month. Examples include reducing food delivery by $80, paying off a bill or building an emergency cushion.
