Why I do what I do

I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

small-business owners, families, and those planning for college or retirement.

State University of New York at Oswego.

I am very proud of…

all of the families and businesses I have been able to help with their insurance and financial services needs over my 30+ year career!

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked for 10 years in the restaurant business, from waiting tables to chef to dining manager.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in its mission of helping members achieve their goals and strive to make their communities better.

The best part of my career is…

bringing solutions to my members by matching the appropriate products to their desired goals.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I got to experience first-hand the relief that I can provide when delivering financial solutions at very desperate times. These are times when I am reminded of why I do what I do! Not sure if they are my favorite, but they certainly are the most important.

Also…

I am so happy that in 1985 my path led me to a career in financial services and insurance. I have had the opportunity to work with so many wonderful clients and colleagues, and anxiously look forward to many more!

My family includes…

my wife, Ann Marie, my daughter, Marissa, and my son, Matthew.

In my free time, you can find me…

spending time with family and friends, traveling, hiking and happily working out in the yard.

I’m passionate about…

making time for family and friends, caring for animals, and rooting for Syracuse Basketball, the Baltimore Orioles and the Kansas City Chiefs!

My greatest blessing is…

my wonderful family upbringing, which I am able to pass down to my children -- and my bride to share it all with.

My personal motto is…

Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it.

What I like best about my community is…

how everyone steps up when the need calls.

I’m a member of…

St. Patrick's Church in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, and the local chamber of commerce.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

working with kids. I recently ended a 25-year career of coaching youth soccer. Great years!
