One of my favorite parts of this job is getting out into the community. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to support a local back-to-school drive, meet some incredible families, and share resources that can help strengthen our community. One of my favorite member benefits at Modern Woodmen is our Do-Good Grant. It gives eligible members the opportunity to receive $200 to support projects that make a difference in their communities. This time, we were able to partner with Ms.King’s church to help with their back-to-school drive and get students ready for a great school year. 📚✏️ If you’re involved with a church, school, youth organization, or local nonprofit, let’s talk. A great week at Capstone School! Grateful to celebrate my first year with Modern Woodmen and receive my Capstone award. I learned a lot, met some incredible people from across the country who I truly believe will become lifelong friends, and picked up plenty of ideas to bring back home. One thing I definitely wasn’t expecting to learn… apparently people up north don’t eat grits. 😂 And of course, if you know me, I had to include a picture of the food too. 🍽️ Here’s to year two!

Wrapped up Investment Training School this week! Had the opportunity to learn from some great people, sharpen my investment knowledge, and learn more about the history of Modern Woodmen and the impact it’s been making since 1883. Excited to take what I learned back home and continue helping families and business owners work toward their goals.
