Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
Kokomo and the surrounding areas.
I enjoy working with…
families, new graduates, those approaching retirement and small-business owners.
I attended…
University of Cincinnati for my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Purdue University for my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
taught. Currently I am a professor (adjunct) of mathematics at Indiana University, Kokomo, where I teach Probability and Statistics and Topics in Mathematics, which includes consumer mathematics as part of the curriculum. For 31 years I was an electrical engineer and engineering group manager at Delphi Electronics and Safety in the Advanced Infotainment group.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I believe in the organization, not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.
The best part of my career is…
helping people, my members, to develop and implement financial goals. Whether it is planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.
