I chose Modern Woodmen because…

it checks all the boxes! My history and future with Modern Woodmen are a dream come true. I partnered with the organization in 2020 to help with community events during the pandemic, and I fell in love with the fraternal aspect. When I began my career in the financial services industry a couple years later, I knew I wanted to work with Modern Woodmen in east Tennessee.

My family includes…

my husband, Alex; two spoiled French bulldogs, Lola and Daisy; and a rescue cat, Rock-C.

My greatest blessing is…

my family! I learned innumerable life skills growing up so close to all four of my grandparents, learning and working in my parents' metal fabrication business, and traveling with my family from a very early age. I will always attribute my positive attitude, discernment and passionate heart to the people that have loved and cared for me.

My personal motto is…

"Lord, not my will; but yours be done." – Luke 22:42

My hidden talent is…

I have a lot of hobbies: scuba diving, volleyball, ATV motocross racing, golf and competitive handgun shooting. You name it, I can do it or learn how to do it!

Mascot, Tennessee, for just over a year, but I grew up in this community. My parents and grandparents were local business owners and active in church events.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Funds projects to give back to the community that helped raise me. One of the most impactful projects I’ve been part of was a fundraiser for the Berean Christian Athletic Department. My most formative years were impacted by playing middle and high school volleyball at Berean Christian School, so it means a lot to me to give back to the programs that made me into the person I am today.

Fraternal footprints last forever

An elderly widow who recently lost her son welcomed me into her home and we talked for a while. I listened to stories, got to know her, and learn more about her son's tragic passing. The man’s 12-year-old daughter performed CPR on him until EMS arrived. The girl, who is a Modern Woodmen member, had also lost her mother five years earlier. I told the grandmother about Modern Woodman's Orphan Support Benefit, which provides monthly payments to a qualifying child’s guardian through age 18 and money for college. Making a difference in this girl's life and financial future is something I will never forget or be able to thank Modern Woodmen enough for!
