Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I believe all families, especially special-needs families, need a financial coach. I'm passionate about helping these families because I am a special-needs parent myself. As I was joining the financial services business, I realized families like mine were getting lost in the stereotypes of what traditional financial planning looked like. My family and so many others have unique needs that need to be addressed differently. What really excites me is the individualized approach Modern Woodmen offers.
I serve members in…
Cincinnati, Ohio, and the tri-state region.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
special-needs families, especially those that have a disabled child that is entering into adulthood. I also love working with charitable organizations to help strengthen their financial standings, enabling them to continue their mission for decades to come.
I attended…
Salem State University.
I am very proud of…
my work as a board member of Autism Connections. We serve all families with autism diagnoses by bringing programing, education and community fellowship.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
had been working in the financial and home mortgage industry. I was also a stay-at-home mom for more than a decade to my two beautiful children before coming back to work with a new mission to serve special-needs families like mine.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
of how closely aligned their commitment to community service is. As a fraternal organization, Modern Woodmen allows me to give back to the numerous charities that I have relationships with, further strengthening my commitment to charitable work in the Cincinnati area.
The best part of my career is…
changing the financial trajectory of the families that I work with. Knowing that I have made a positive impact is what makes so many of my clients become personal friends of mine.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
our office sponsored a special-needs classroom during the holidays and delivered gifts to the children. Their teacher had been approached by many of the parents asking for help with making the holiday season special. We were able to give above and beyond the wish list of every child in the classroom. I was so proud of the joy we could bring to these children and their families.
