Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked in the banking industry for 17 years. I had the privilege to help a wide range of clients with their financial needs – from everyday banking to more complex strategies for growth, lending and long-term planning.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I saw firsthand how banking clients were often treated like numbers – facing high fees and one-size-fits-all solutions. I was drawn to Modern Woodmen’s members-first and its fraternal mission to give back to its members and their communities. We offer personalized guidance and a genuine commitment to helping individuals and families reach their financial goals.

The best part of my career is…

seeing the real impact that planning can have on people's lives – whether it's helping a client reach a long-term goal, guiding them out of a difficult financial situation, or simply watching them enjoy life with more confidence and peace of mind. Being part of that transformation is incredibly rewarding.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I met a woman who’d worked for 34 years and been married for 50. She was the only person in the household who saved for retirement, and she wanted to ensure her savings would support her long-term needs. Together, we created a personalized financial plan that protected her assets and gave her peace of mind. Giving her that security and control over her financial future was incredibly meaningful.

My family includes…

my husband, Jim. a retired police officer; my son, Sam, a Marine, his wife, India, and their adorable son, Ashton; my daughter, Randi-Brooke, and her beautiful children Hunter, Iara and Melody; and our German shepherds Kealii and Xena.

In my free time, you can find me…

visit the kids with my husband, looking for the next best seafood restaurant, or beach-hopping and collecting seashells.

I have lived in my community…

for five years. During that time, I've made it a priority to get involved and give back. I'm proud to support local efforts like Club Hope House. I believe being active in the community is just as important as the work I do professionally.

What I like best about my community is…

beautiful palm trees and waterways, and the feeling of relaxation.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

hosting lunch and learn events to give people information on options to get their finances back on track. I'm passionate about empowering them to rebuild financial stability and work toward a more secure, confident future.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Funds projects and Hometown Hero celebrations.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

a Matching Fund event for the Hilly Half-Marathon. My members, husband and I handed out water as the participants ran or walked past our stations. The energy was so exciting and invigorating!
