Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, I know all too well how life affect your loved ones. Some life events are amazing blessings while others can be devastating, emotionally and financially. There's not a one-size-fits-all approach to financial planning. I love to help others design a plan that fits their family or business.
I serve members in…
the great state of Texas. Most of my members reside in central Texas, including Austin, Cedar Park and surrounding counties. However, I love a good Texas road trip! I also am licensed in Illinois, Oklahoma and Ohio.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities and mutual funds.
I enjoy working with…
people who really care about those around them, such as family, coworkers and employees. Over the last few years, I've worked with many small-business owners to design and implement plans for themselves and their employees.
I am very proud of…
earning Million Dollar Round Table membership in 2023. I also earned a place in Modern Woodmen's President's Club in 2020, President's Cabinet in 2019 and President's Club in 2018.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
spent 10 years staying home with my kids. As CEO of our household, I handled the craziness of four kids as they went from kindergarten through high school. I also was blessed to be the controller for the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce for five years and a member relation and group service manager for Scott & White Health plan for two years.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
this organization is founded on the principles of caring for widows and orphans. I was impressed by Modern Woodmen's strong commitment to giving back to those in need and to the community where we live, work and play. We put the members' needs first. Financial representatives with Modern Woodmen have long careers. We are a big family.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members have a strong financial future. My members know we've looked at every aspect of their financial future, and I won't recommend anything I wouldn't recommend for my own family.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I was invited to a national conference for one of my business-owners. They introduced me to their fellow attendees, but they didn't just give my name. They said, "No, you don't understand; we LOVE her." I thought I was going to cry. Their trust means the world to me. I'm so thankful for this career!

I could share many more stories of the amazing members I have the blessing to work with and help. I LOVE my career with Modern Woodmen. We touch lives and secure futures every day.
