Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
Missouri, specifically southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
young families and helping them prepare for the journey of life before them. I also work with people preparing for their retirement years. It is never too soon or too late to plan!
I attended…
Jefferson College in St. Louis, Missouri.
I am very proud of…
earning the Sure Start Award with Modern Woodmen, as well as earning my FIC credentials and being placed in the fast-track program!
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
was in vocational ministry as a worship leader and have been working with families for 40 years.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
of not only its products and belief in giving back to the members and community, but also for the high values and standards of its everyday business practices.
The best part of my career is…
knowing I have done my part in helping prepare a family for what can never truly be prepared for. My work gives them a little peace of mind knowing they have been diligent in their planning.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I delivered a $500 Matching Fund check to a father who had used up all of his vacation time to be with his daughter traveling to and from St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis. He had no income during this time, and with a tear in his eye said this $500 was going to sustain them for the next two weeks. Modern Woodmen is helping to give people HOPE and changing lives!
Also…
I have worked for other very good insurance companies. And while they are limited to helping families only when a person dies, Modern Woodmen is able to provide much needed funds and services while a person is still living through fraternal benefits!
