Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I love helping people and seeing them achieve their goals. Modern Woodmen gives me the opportunity to serve others by helping them come up with a financial plan that can be adjusted through all stages of their lives.

I serve members in…

Mississippi, primarily West Point, Starkville and surrounding areas.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

individuals and couples in all stages of life.

I attended…

Hinds Community College and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

was a dental hygienist for 20 years.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I have been a member since 2010 and have seen the impact they make in my community! To be able to do a job that I enjoy and give back to communities and schools is an amazing opportunity.

The best part of my career is…

meeting new people while getting to know more about them and what their financial needs are. Seeing them achieve their goals financially is rewarding.

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my husband, Casey, and our daughter, Emma.

In my free time, you can find me…

with my family enjoying outdoor activities, MSU sporting events and working out at Orange Theory. Friday nights during football season you will find me supporting the West Point Green Wave football team, where my husband has been a coach for 17 years.

I’m passionate about…

spending time with my family, serving in our church and meeting the needs of others.

My greatest blessing is…

my relationship with Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Community impact

In the community

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for 18 years.

What I like best about my community is…

the small-town atmosphere. People are always willing to help when someone is in need.

I’m a member of…

First Baptist Church Starkville.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.
