camping, boating, biking, grilling, and spending time with friends new, and old.

my family, friends, and the struggles that I overcome daily.

My personal motto is…

your mindset matters.... If you think you can't, you are right.

My hidden talent is…

cooking, grilling and smoking meats, and letting someone else clean up the mess :)

Also…

I love my family and doggo's!! They all keep me on my toes and having a young son keeps me young at heart and spirit daily. I had a child a bit later in life but cherish the experience and would never change a thing about my life.

I have lived in my community…

continuously for the past 18 years. I’m originally from middle Tennessee but moved away several times for career opportunities. I’m happy to be back!

What I like best about my community is…

the caring and sharing among the town folk, particularly in Smyrna. We’re a growing community with the heart of a small town!

I’m a member of…

Smyrna Rotary and Cedar City Sporting Clays.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

Rotary, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest and Smyrna Food Bank.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

donating educational programs.

I’m a huge fan of the Wings of Freedom Fish Fry in Smyrna. It always highlights the community giving and coming together. I have great memories from this event each year, which is attended by more than 2,500 people.
