Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I love to build relationships in order to help people craft a peaceful life through financial stability.

I serve members in…

Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

anyone who desires true peace in their life and is committed enough to take action.

I attended…

Michigan State University.

I am very proud of…

who my family is and being an Eagle Scout.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

taught and performed viola across the country for three years before realizing I was called to help people in a different way.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

this career allows me to serve my Heavenly Father, who has allowed me to prosper, and I can give back in unique ways to my community, my wife (and hopefully future children), and the rest of my family.

The best part of my career is…

witnessing people experience peace wash over them when they commit to a decision that will change the trajectory of their family forever.

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my lovely wife, Mary. We have been happily married since December 2018.

In my free time, you can find me…

spending time with family, doing projects, practicing my viola, or sim racing.

I’m passionate about…

the Catholic Church, classical music, and auto racing.

My greatest blessing is…

the opportunity to live in the present moment.

My personal motto is…

Always being comfortable makes it impossible to find any sense of meaning in our life.

My hidden talent is…

probably playing the viola, but anyone who knows me moderately well is aware of this. I talk about it far more than most people care to hear!

Community impact

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

all my life, except when I left for college.

I’m a member of…

St. Anne Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

helping at my church through music and youth ministry, and giving back to the Boy Scouts of America.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when I performed at a benefit concert after the civil unrest in Kenosha in 2020, helping raise over $1,400.

Benefit concert for Uptown and Downtown Kenosha

After civil unrest in Kenosha left many Uptown and Downtown homes and businesses in shambles, I connected with the director of local businesses and a local vocalist and pianist and was able to perform, playing viola, at a benefit concert for more than 100 people. Through its Matching Fund Program, Modern Woodmen of America matched donations, and we were able to raise over $1,400 to give back to the community.
