Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
families, those approaching retirement, small-business owners and whomever that I can help regarding their financial needs.
I attended…
Shelton Community College and the Modern Woodmen career school in Rock Island, Illinois.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
worked in banking for six years and worked five years at a home for abused women and children. I really enjoy helping and serving others.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I believe in the organization - not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back through our fraternal benefits outside life insurance and investments.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members. Whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I understood just how important financial plans are. I delivered my first death claim to a family that had lost a loved one. It was a very hard time for this family, and being able to hand them a check to help alleviate financial pressures brought satisfaction to me as an agent and made me proud of who I work for.
