Why I do what I do

I believe when I started in financial planning many years ago it was what I was meant to do. I am open and try to find the best possibilities for friends, clients and family members to help them through the financial goals, burdens and hardships of life. I'm passionate for everyone to dream big and make things happen!

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in the organization and can say that 100 percent from the heart. When I first joined Modern Woodmen and went to my first regional meeting, we said a prayer and then the Pledge of Allegiance. I thought, "Wow, I haven't been able to do that in the two Fortune 500 companies I worked for over the last 17 years."

My family includes…

my husband Jim, my son & daughter-in-law, Sam and India, my daughter and adorable grandson, Randi-Brooke and Hunter, and lastly our two German shepherds, Kealii & Xena.

In my free time, you can find me…

and my husband traveling to visit the kids, or looking for the next best seafood restaurant -- always beach-hopping and collecting seashells.

enjoying all life has to offer and not letting any time slip by!

My greatest blessing is…

the true gift of family and love! And being able to reach my goals in life with a career that is part of my day-to-day!

not too long -- I'm brand new to wonderful, sunny southwest Florida!

What I like best about my community is…

beautiful palm trees and waterways, and the feeling of relaxation.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

Matching Fund projects to raise money for those in need.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when we did a Matching Fund event for the Hilly Half-Marathon. My husband and members worked different water stations handing out the waters as they ran or walked by. The energy was so exciting and invigorating!
