I’m passionate about helping my members determine their financial goals. We work together to create a plan based on their unique needs.

I serve members in…

northeast Iowa, including Independence, Winthrop, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Oelwein, Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

worked with Four Oaks Organization, a nonprofit built to help troubled teenagers. I worked there for six years before joining Modern Woodmen full time. While working at Four Oaks, I also worked as a district agent for Modern Woodmen.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I enjoy helping others. I like the fraternal benefits of the organization, and I'm happy to help clients plan for their financial future. I also enjoy the many ways Modern Woodmen of America helps me give back to my community through fraternal benefits.

my wife, Katie, and our sons, Parker and Meyer.

on the golf course, boating or fishing. I also enjoy hunting and spending time with family!

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

my entire life. I was born and raised in Independence.

What I like best about my community is…

the way the community comes together in time of need. It's also home to me and my family. It's a small community, so no one is a stranger. The number of community events that take place to get community members involved gives me a great opportunity to give back!

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

chapter events to meet new people and interact more with clients, and also Matching Fund projects to help those in need. I also enjoy educating others about our youth educational programs.
