I was reminded of an important lesson in life on a crucial topic.... Perspective. A few months ago, I hosted a game show for my clients, “Would I Lie to You?”. Members had to guess whether other members were telling the truth or lying. Each member had to come up with truths and lies about themselves. However, I decided to let my clients decide how to split the prize. ($100 Amazon Gift card) We had contestants of all ages. Immediately, the youngest contestant suggested 50/50. I’m not sure about you… however at their age, I wouldn’t have suggested 50/50. However, they wanted everyone to have a fair chance. Everyone deserves a portion of the prize. That’s exactly what we did. We played for fun and made great memories. The world is so different from the perspective of children. However, if we try, we can see what they see. I just hit all my 2025 goals! ✨🍾 However, I’ve learned some hard lessons along the way. 📌 Getting help won’t hurt you. It will improve your practice over time! It allows you to delegate tasks and focus on other areas. 📌 Working 10 hours days doesn’t equal productivity. One word. Burnout. Some of my most productive days only involved me being at the office for 4 hours! 📌 Prioritize your mental health. It’s difficult to take days off when you work for yourself. You could always be doing more. However, you’ll burn yourself out overtime with this mentality. 📌Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! This goes for online and in person.... Once you stop worrying about what others will think, you’ll find your voice. I’ve become a stronger business owner since realizing this. (Thanks for following along on LinkedIn!) Were there times this year that I thought I wouldn’t hit my goals? 100% Did that stop me? Nope! Remember, you got this! You’re stronger than you know.
