I’ve heard 2016 is the new 2026…. Here were some of the biggest things happening in my life: 📌 5 years as a Modern Woodmen Financial Rep!!! 📌 Milwaukee Bucks brand new stadium was being built. 📌 Lots of donations to those in need for the holiday season. 📌 Became a FSCP (Financial Service Certified Professional) 📌 Won the Fraternal Insurance Counselors Rising Star Award and Quality Service Award! 📌 Grew my practice and pushed myself out of my comfort zone. It’s hard to believe that 2016 was ten years ago now… For many of us, time flew by. Friendly reminder: Start planning today. You may think you have time but trust me, it flies by. Four years ago, I lost 43 pounds in a weight loss competition at my gym. Yes, 43 pounds. I’m often asked why I started on my health journey…. I wanted to do better for myself. See a difference. (Also: The winner got a bunch of free goodies 😉) Every day, I was at the gym. Doing at least an hour of cardio. Fasting and limiting my calorie intake. Weighing myself. Meeting with a trainer to help me get to my goals. This didn’t happen overnight. There were many days I thought about quitting. But where would that get me? I worked hard to get to where I am today. Consistency really does pay off. Today, I give back to the gym who made a huge impact on my health journey. Every year, I sponsor the Biggest Loser Competition.
