I feel truly blessed to make a living by helping others and the communities around me. Every day, I work with people to overcome financial challenges and build a more secure future. I also support my community through our fraternal programs and activities, making my work deeply rewarding!

Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota (the most German city in America). I also earned a Certified Financial Planner certification from Waukesha County Technical College.

What’s the benefits of having a financial rep on your 401(k) plan? Time, expertise, and peace of mind. Recently, I became the financial rep to a local business’s 401(k) plan. Together, we’re working to take their retirement plan to the next level with a few simple steps. With over 50 employees, managing a retirement plan can be pushed to the back burner. As an owner myself, I always have million and one tasks I could be doing at any time. It’s no wonder that the retirement plan might not be up to standard. However, that’s where I came in. At a recent seminar with the whole staff, I share that the 6 top performing funds in the company’s 401(k) plan had no participants invested! Now, we’re working to change that by sitting down with each employee to review their plan. As a business owner, you shouldn’t have to worry about your retirement plan. I’ve helped with: 📌Plan management: Reviewing costs, fees, and current fund line up to make sure they have the top funds to choose from. 📌Personalized service: Local point of contact for all questions and concerns (no more automated customer service, YAY!) 📌Professional help: Questions on the current line up? I made one of the biggest mistakes of my career…. I didn’t prioritize my own schedule and hobbies. Being a business owner, you wear LOTS of hats. There is always something you could be doing at the office. For a while, I got into a pattern of staying at the office until 11pm. Multiple nights in a row. And working every weekend. My mental health paid the price. When trying to grow my business, I was neglecting myself and my hobbies. Now, I’m setting boundaries for myself. No staying at the office til 11. Not working every weekend. Taking time for the activities I love.
