If I had more money, all my problems would be solved. I’ve heard phrase time and time again. Truthfully, I get it. Money does solve some of our problems. It provides freedom to choose what you want to do. It reduces stress and anxiety. It gives us the security we all want. However, more money won’t replace a financial plan. (I know, I know…crazy right??) Over the years, I’ve seen clients struggle with their finances. Living paycheck to paycheck. Guess what? They had a great paying job. Their problem wasn’t money. It was a plan. They couldn’t tell me where most of their money went. Without a financial plan, you can feel confused and lost. Like a tourist in a foreign country with no map… it will be hard to navigate. However, a financial plan gives you that clarity. Money isn’t the solution. Business owners don’t need breaks. I think we’ve all heard that phrase at some point, right? (Or maybe it’s just me!) Here’s the truth that most people forget: Burnout is REAL. It won’t help you gain business. Breaks do. They allow us to recharge. Get our head in the right place. It’s SO important to prioritize your mental health. Our business is important. But so is your mental health. Many years ago, I joined the Bucks Fan Section. Why do I keep coming back year after year? Because it gets me out of the office. Clears my mind. Over 15 years ago, I made one of the best decisions of my career. Following my dreams and becoming a financial representative. Before coming to the finance industry, I was a teacher and then I worked in promotions. From a young age, I knew I wanted to make a difference and help others. Teaching felt like the right choice. Helping others grow and learn. However, I struggled to find employment… that lead me down another path. Promotions. Still helping others but in the remodeling business! I loved what I did. However, this still didn’t feel right. I wanted to do more to help others. That's when I found Modern Woodmen. From the day I started, I LOVED it. Being able to help educate and assist others on their financial journey. The best feeling was seeing the relief that my clients have after meeting with me. All the unknowns. All their worries.
