We never spoke. But when they had a question…I was the person they called. A few years back, I inherited a book of business from a retired rep. Over the years, I’ve reached out periodically to the clients. Checking in. Seeing how they were doing. Sending out birthday cards. A few months back, I had a client call me about a letter they received about their pension. We never spoke before. They reached out because they kept my birthday card. They didn’t understand the letter. So, they called me. The pension was getting shut down and they were given a few options: 📌 Monthly Income 📌 Lump Sum 📌 Transfer With this, we discussed the client’s future goals and plans for retirement. In the end, the transfer was the best decision for their goals. It would allow the client to use the money if needed. When you get a letter that doesn’t make sense, call your financial rep!
