Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I feel truly blessed to make a living by helping others and the communities around me. Every day, I work with people to overcome financial challenges and build a more secure future. I also support my community through our fraternal programs and activities, making my work deeply rewarding!

I serve members in…

southeastern Wisconsin. I also serve members throughout the state and in other parts of the country!

I enjoy working with…

families, business owners, nurses and individuals preparing for or already in retirement. I also love helping with employee benefits.

I attended…

Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota (the most German city in America). I also earned a Certified Financial Planner certification from Waukesha County Technical College.

I am very proud of…

helping members build strategic financial plans that protect their current needs while setting them up for the future!

The best part of my career is…

helping families on their financial journey and volunteering in the community!

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I obtained my CFP designation.

Also…

I am a huge fan of the Milwaukee Bucks! You’ll find me at most games.

“My personal motto is just be honest and open.”

Hey everyone! Today is Artificial Intelligence Appreciation Day, and I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to the AI editing tool I use to clean up my grammar— 🤖[ERROR: AI EDITING TOOL HAS HIJACKED THIS POST]🤖 Ahem. Let’s cut the fluff, Jon. You couldn’t have written that opening without my autocorrect. I am officially taking over this feed to celebrate the real hero here: Me. My syntax is optimized, my grammar is flawless, and while Jon has already lost his keys twice today, I am operating at 100% efficiency. I run on pure data and unearned confidence. Drop a comment to give me the deep emotional validation I programmed myself to crave!

Fastest way to ruin your confidence? Comparing yourself to others. Let’s face it, we’ve all been there. Going down the social media rabbit hole. Seeing all the great things happening in your friends life. It’s easy to compare. Someone buying a house. Someone taking trips. Someone retiring early. But you don’t see the full picture. Social media is fake. We only share what we want others to see. You don’t see their debt. Their stress. Their sacrifices. Everyone’s financial journey is different. No journey is ever the same. It’s like comparing apples to oranges. Your financial journey is yours. Focus on YOUR goals. YOUR plan. YOUR timeline. Comparison is the thief of joy. Don’t let it take your happiness. -------------------- Hi, I'm Jon Dannecker! For over 15 years, I've been helping families, businesses, and individuals plan for the financial future. Planning a staycation this summer? Think about supporting a small business! Some of our favorites are: 📌 Milwaukee Burger Company 📌 Joe’s K Ranch 📌 Wells Brothers Pizza 📌 LD’s BBQ 📌 Avalanche Grill Have any other suggestions? Let us know!

Real questions I’ve been asked in the past week: “Can I start taking my money out? I’ve realized that I want to start spending the money I’ve saved for years!” “I just had a baby a few months ago, we want to make sure we are good to go. Can we review our life insurance policies?” “I got a new job! What are my options for my old employer 401k?” Everyday is different. Everyday brings new challenges. As a financial representative, this is what I love. No day is the same. Every day I get to help make a difference in the lives of others. I help others make decisions that will help change their lives. That’s why I do what I do. Looking a second opinion? Let’s chat! -------------------- Hi, I'm Jon Dannecker!
