Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others and their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s extremely rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
North Carolina, specifically Randolph County and surrounding counties.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
individuals, families, those approaching retirement and small-business owners.
I attended…
Guilford Technical Community College and Revelation Message Bible College.
I am very proud of…
earning the NAIFA Quality Award three consecutive years, earning NAFIC Quality Award four consecutive years, earning Century Club four times, and earning Executive Club one year.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
was a virtual trainer with Convergys for four years and a certified dental assistant/dental office manager for 21 years.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
I believe in the organization -- not only for how it supports members to help them reach their financial goals, but also for the way it supports my community and allows me to give back.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members. Whether we're planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I helped make a positive impact on their lives.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I understood just how important my role as a financial representative is and how important the plans I help with are. When I delivered my first death claim to a wife left behind, it gave me peace knowing she would not struggle to bury her husband. It provided financial security that she would never have had if we hadn't had a very needed conversation.

I'm glad to be able to assist my members through financial hardships caused by medical issues. Providing relief through our Fraternal Aid program by paying three months of Modern Woodmen premiums has been a huge financial relief for a few of my members. My greatest reward is knowing I was able to make a difference through Modern Woodmen.
