Why I do what I do

I’m so blessed to make a living by helping others and their communities. Each day, I meet with families and business owners and help them overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to do what I do.

Other organizations may have a foundation or an annual charitable event they sponsor, but with Modern Woodmen, I get to impact the community in a positive way on a daily basis. It is great to work with an organization that supports our community and helps our clients achieve their financial goals.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I told a member that they could take the early retirement they worked so hard to enjoy.

walking my dog, playing softball, or somewhere in the rough on the golf course.

my daughters. Watching them grow and learn every day is a wonderful experience.

My personal motto is…

If you do right to someone, they may tell someone about it. If you do wrong to someone, they'll tell everyone they know about you.

my favorite thing to do is grill. There is just something about a meal cooked over the fire that brings people together.

for over 11 years.

I’m a member of…

the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce, Exchange Club of Irvine, Irvine Police Service Animal Foundation, Harvest Christian Fellowship and Tustin Ranch PTA.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

the ones where I can help children. It is great opportunity to have an immediate impact on the children and a long-term impact on the future of the community.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

helping provide positive experiences for kids with Modern Woodmen’s local youth service clubs.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when we made Christmas happen for two families who had experienced child abuse. We shopped for family members off their wish lists, which mostly contained everyday items. We also bought them items many of us would take for granted. We then had a gift-wrapping event with our members. We even coordinated a trip to a local theme park for the families. Both families were so grateful to receive Christmas that year.
