Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I know what happens when insurance isn't in place and what happens when there isn't enough money to assist families in moving forward. I also know how difficult it can be to manage today's needs with long-term savings. I like to help people find ways to stretch their dollars so they can do what they need to do now -- but also set some money aside to protect their families and their future.
I serve members in…
Illinois, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. I was raised in New England and started with Modern Woodmen there. I relocated to Illinois in 2023 to be closer to my sister and her family. I still work with my members in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, and I'm available if you have a family member or friend on the East Coast who could benefit from the work I do.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities (fixed and variable) and mutual funds.
I enjoy working with…
women, in particular, because it's imperative that we know how to manage our money. Many women die single, so we have to know where to access information and we must part of decision-making about family finances.
I attended…
William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, for my undergraduate degree. I earned my master's degree in business through Columbia College in Colombia, Missouri. I'm a New England native but I adore the Midwest!
I am very proud of…
the level of service Modern Woodmen provides to members. We're so much more than an organization, we become family. And that matters when it comes to money and life insurance claims.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
worked with college students, helping them focus on wellness. Now, I build relationships learn the value of financial wellness. Money is tied to everything (good and bad). Having a plan in place offers security and peace of mind, leading to a healthier lifestyle.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
it puts relationships with members first, and it encourages me to be even more active in my community. Fraternalism lets me give back to my community through social and volunteer events. I get to make a difference!
The best part of my career is…
helping people tackle what can be an intimidating, yet essential, part of their adult lives. I'll be your guide and support, providing a safe place to ask questions, bounce ideas and share your dreams.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
a member told me how much she appreciated being able to ask what she considered "dumb" questions -- and that I took the time to answer them. That helped me realize how intimidating this process can be for some people. I like it when they can be themselves with me.
Also…
I'm incredibly organized. If I say we'll follow up in six months, you can rest assured you'll hear from me in five! I'll help keep you on task so you can get on with living life.
