answering the call for our local nonprofit organizations and community leaders, working with our education foundations and classroom teachers, supporting our first responders and military, and recognizing the unsung heroes who work to make central and southern Indiana a more enjoyable place for families to thrive.
Reflecting on an ancient proverb reminds us of the importance of staying engaged and proactive: "An empty mind, is the devil's playground." This wisdom underscores the value of filling our days with meaningful activities and continuous learning. Keeping our minds active not only wards off stagnation but also enriches our personal and professional lives. Life will teach us this is easier said than done. ASSIST Indiana! As longtime supporters, we’re proud to (re)introduce you to this amazing organization dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages who have been affected by violence. Their mission is to provide essential support and resources to help individuals heal, rebuild, and thrive after experiencing violence. We had the honor of attending the 2nd Annual Flushing Out Violence Concert at The Sycamore at Mallow Run. It was an incredible event that brought our community together for a night of uplifting music, heartfelt stories, and powerful connections. The support and enthusiasm from everyone who attended were truly inspiring! Today, we pause to honor and remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001. As we reflect on this day, we pay tribute to the courage, resilience, and unity that arose from the tragedy. To the families and friends who carry the weight of this day, our thoughts and hearts are with you. We also remember the first responders and ordinary citizens who stepped up with extraordinary bravery. As someone who has visited and walked through the Memorial, I ask folks to come together to reflect on the strength of our nation and the power of compassion and solidarity.
