Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I realized very early in my career that there is a huge need for good financial guidance. So many Americans don't act when they should simply because they don't feel qualified to address issues themselves. I decided I'd be the person who they could trust to get great results.
I serve members in…
Arkansas and 11 other states where my members reside.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, variable annuities, 401(k) plans and investment advisory services.
I enjoy working with…
hardworking individuals, self-employed workers, small-business owners, and people who want to start planning for retirement.
I attended…
Hendrix College.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
of the people and culture. I interviewed at multiple financial services firms while in college. Modern Woodmen was completely different from the others. People come first over everything here, and the community impact of being a fraternal organization is incredible. Millions of dollars are given back to local communities. That means a lot. Matthew 6:21 says "Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be."
The best part of my career is…
meeting people in my community face-to-face and helping them where they need it most. When I leave a meeting, I feel great knowing I've helped them so much. I'll be their financial advisor and give the best service I can.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I helped a family of five in my hometown in my first year in the business. The parents were in their late 40s and hadn't started saving for their retirement. They didn't understand the first steps to take (a common story.) After meeting, I walked the husband through his 401(k) plan so he could collect his employer’s match. We also started a nonworking spouse IRA for his wife. When they said they felt a huge weight was lifted from their shoulders, I knew this was the career for me!
