Olivet Nazarene University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in music education, and Indiana Wesleyan University, where I earned a master's degree in educational leadership.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

taught middle school and high school band for 20 years.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in how the organization supports members to reach their financial goals and the way it allows me to give back to my community.

The best part of my career is…

helping my members. Whether planning for retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, I feel good knowing I make a positive impact on their lives.

my wife, Nicole; daughter, Addilyn; and son, Nolan.

In my free time, you can find me…

cheering on my kids at their fine arts performances, marching band, and karate. Also, spending time outdoors in the summer, serving at my church, or enjoying a cup of coffee with family and friends.

I’m passionate about…

my family and friends, and serving others. I also love serving on short-term mission teams here and abroad!

My greatest blessing is…

my family, health, and the opportunity to help others on their financial journeys.

My personal motto is…

"You can go anywhere and do anything if you don't care who receives the credit."

My hidden talent is…

I can play just about any musical instrument.

the amazing people and the small-town feeling. You are only a stranger if you choose to be.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

hands-on activities where I can see the results of my hard work. I also enjoy activities that help children and allow me to bring along my own children to teach the importance of giving back to others.
