Why I do what I do

My son, Barrett, passed away after two years of fighting a brain tumor. He was 3 ½ years old. In that time, I saw first-hand how much help people need with financial planning. I became a financial representative to educate and ensure families are as prepared as they can be for the unexpected.

was a commercial saturation diver. I spent my 20s diving around the world for energy companies.

helping my members. Bringing peace of mind to people that felt lost is a true gift.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I sat down with a local family that never thought they could afford their retirement dreams. I showed them that not only could we achieve that vision, but we could also leave a legacy for their children.

Modern Woodmen has a long history of participating in parades – including one that took place 100 years ago this month! Modern Woodmen Foresters (member drill teams) from across the country came together in Chicago in June 1925. Each member carried a ceremonial prop known as a parade ax. They wore different uniform colors to denote their camp (chapter). #ModernPioneers
