Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I was fortunate to have advisors in my life when my husband and I built a family and started our own ag business. This is my way of paying it forward.

I serve members in…

Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

families and business owners.

I attended…

the University of Idaho.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

the culture, from the top down, is about supporting not only members, but also the communities we serve.

The best part of my career is…

helping people reach their goals and being a part of that success story.

“I help families and small business owners in our community build financial security while strengthening the places we live and work.”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my husband, Kody; daughter, Macie; and sons Boden and Wiley.

In my free time, you can find me…

at a sporting event for one of my kids or working on the farm with my husband.

My personal motto is…

"It's never wrong to do the right thing." – Mark Twain

Community impact

In the community

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for over 25 wonderful years.

I’m a member of…

Leadership Idaho Agriculture, Magic Valley Vandal Booster, and the First Presbyterian Church.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

the Do-Good Grant®, Birthday Book Club and Orphan Support Benefit. These programs speak to the kind of organization that Modern Woodmen of America is.

Ready to declutter your finances? Here are five tips to spring clean your budget. 1. Conduct your own expense audit. Go through the last one to three months of expenses and locate potential wasteful spending. 2. Cancel or reduce subscriptions. Ask yourself if there are any you can downgrade. 3. Set spending caps. Set limits on a few categories – like eating out, shopping or coffee runs – to remain flexible. 4. Map out irregular expenses. Put money aside for things like car repairs, gifts, home maintenance and travel to prepare for the future. 5. Set one budget goal per month. Examples include reducing food delivery by $80, paying off a bill or building an emergency cushion.
