Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

for my family, my community, and women. I'm committed to guiding others toward financial security and making an impact not only in my community but also in the industry as one of the few women leaders.

I serve members in…

California.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance and annuities.

I enjoy working with…

families, working professionals and business owners.

I attended…

Cal Poly Pomona.

I am very proud of…

leading my peers in fraternal events and community engagement in Southern California.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

was a student-athlete at Cal Poly Pomona.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

I believe in our mission to support families nationwide. The experience of giving back through the work I do with our members and in our communities is the most fulfilling.

The best part of my career is…

positively impacting individuals' and families' lives within my communities through financial services and various service projects.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I completed Phase 1 of our first-year Fraternal Builder Program. I have hosted and led four fraternal events within six months of starting my career at Modern Woodmen while dedicating myself to supporting our communities.

Also…

I pride myself on both my strategic work helping individuals and families achieve their goals and my work helping to leave my community better than how I found it.

“"Be the change you wish to see in the world!"”

My life outside of work

My family includes…

my younger sister, father, mother, and grandmother.

In my free time, you can find me…

in a movie theater, at the gym, or at Disneyland.

I’m passionate about…

my family! Nothing makes me happier than spending time with the people I love most and supporting them throughout their lives. I'm also a huge advocate for higher education and youth sports because I largely benefited growing up as a student-athlete.

My greatest blessing is…

my younger sister. She is the greatest gift my parents could have given me and I'm eternally lucky to have her in my life.

My personal motto is…

"Be the change you wish to see in the world." This quote guides me through my work and through my life as I navigate the world.

My hidden talent is…

singing. I grew up singing in choir for about 10 years traveling to and performing at Disneyland, in my communities, and even New York's Carnegie Hall.

Also…

I love to travel. I studied abroad in Hannover, Germany when I was attending Cal Poly Pomona and fell in love with visiting different places around the world.

Community impact

In the community

In the community

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

for more than 20 years.

What I like best about my community is…

the support I have received over the years through school and work. I am so lucky to belong to such a giving and caring community filled with people ready to help me accomplish my goals.

I’m a member of…

Upland Chamber, La Verne Chamber, BNI Pathfinders, and CPP Alumni Association.

My favorite volunteer activities are…

any time spent giving back to Cal Poly Pomona as an alumna. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with students, giving advice, and supporting them throughout their journeys.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

our Do-Good Grant® and scholarship program.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

donating hundreds of dollars’ worth of toys to Toys for Tots through the Newport Harbor Holiday Lights Cruise I planned for our community.
