Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I believe every family deserves financial security, clarity and someone they can trust to guide them toward long-term protection and peace of mind.
I serve members in…
I support members statewide, with dedicated focus on the Pueblo and Cañon City communities.
I enjoy working with…
families, individuals planning for retirement, young adults starting out, mortgage-holders protecting their homes, and anyone who wants to build a more secure financial future.
I attended…
The Ohio State University, majoring in finance. I transferred to DeVry University to get my bachelor’s degree in computer information systems.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
spent over 25 years as an IT project manager, operations director and consultant helping organizations improve processes and better serve their people.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
it allows me to combine financial guidance with meaningful community service — something that aligns perfectly with my values.
The best part of my career is…
combining financial guidance with community service. I make an impact both personally and locally.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I received a call from a member who was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to review their life insurance plan. Their best chance for recovery required relocating to another state for several weeks — something they couldn’t afford. That’s when I shared life-changing news: their Modern Woodmen plan included living benefits they could access to cover temporary relocation and medical expenses. Easing their stress during such a difficult time is exactly why I do this work.
Also…
I love connecting with people, learning their stories, and helping them create financial plans that truly reflect their goals and values.
