Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I enjoy helping families and individuals prepare for retirement and making an impact while doing it!

I serve members in…

Nebraska.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

families, small-business owners and individuals approaching retirement.

I attended…

Doane University.

I am very proud of…

coming back to serve members with Modern Woodmen after my 2019 internship with our regional director.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

was an LPL financial advisor at a bank.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

of our key differentiator: fraternalism. Nothing feels better than helping members while giving back to our community.

The best part of my career is…

seeing members enjoy our programs.

“Modern Woodmen membership is about relationships. We take time to get to know you and your needs. Get to know me and how we might connect.”

My local community impact

I have lived in my community…

my entire life.

What I like best about my community is…

people genuinely care for one another.

I’m a member of…

the Stromsburg Legacy Fund.

It’s very important to me to support my community. My favorite Modern Woodmen programs are:

enjoying social and educational opportunities with my local Modern Woodmen chapters.

My favorite memory from a fraternal event is…

when our chapter donated hats and gloves to all the elementary students at Cross County Community Schools.

Ready to declutter your finances? Here are five tips to spring clean your budget. 1. Conduct your own expense audit. Go through the last one to three months of expenses and locate potential wasteful spending. 2. Cancel or reduce subscriptions. Ask yourself if there are any you can downgrade. 3. Set spending caps. Set limits on a few categories – like eating out, shopping or coffee runs – to remain flexible. 4. Map out irregular expenses. Put money aside for things like car repairs, gifts, home maintenance and travel to prepare for the future. 5. Set one budget goal per month. Examples include reducing food delivery by $80, paying off a bill or building an emergency cushion.
