Teacher Appreciation Week is one of our favorite opportunities to give back to the people who pour so much into our community each and every day. We had the privilege of serving breakfast to 80 incredible faculty and staff members at Hanahan Middle School with bagels, coffee, and a small token of appreciation. A special thank you to The Coffee Run for providing a first-rate coffee experience. From the coffee machines and cups to all the additives and details in between, they helped make the morning extra special for everyone involved. As a local coffee delivery service serving the Charleston area and owners of Cold Blooded Caffeine Co., they truly went above and beyond. At Modern Woodmen, we recognize that educators do far more than teach lessons, they help shape the future of our children, families, and communities. Time to celebrate! Isaiah 117 House has officially opened its doors in Greenville County, and we couldn’t be more excited for the impact this home will have on children and families in our community. Isaiah 117 House provides children entering foster care with a safe, welcoming, home-like environment during one of the hardest moments of their lives. Instead of waiting in an office, children are greeted by caring volunteers, clean clothes, toys, meals, and comfort while staff work to find a secure placement.
