Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.
I enjoy working with…
individuals and families who are seeking a balanced approach to meeting their immediate financial needs while also planning for a secure future.
I attended…
Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville), where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music in 2003 and my Master of Education (K-12) with an emphasis in vocal music in 2005.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
spent 16 years teaching in public schools with the majority of my service being in vocal music education with experience at all grade levels. In addition to music festivals, concerts, musicals and show choirs, I was able to arrange performances for my students at the Lincoln Center, the 360 Observatory (formerly John Hancock Center, Chicago), and Union Station (St. Louis). The last three years of my teaching career were spent as an instructional coach at the secondary level.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
it is a fraternal organization that creates opportunities to help members meet and exceed their financial goals while also connecting with communities to further impact their lives.
The best part of my career is…
being able to provide the support members need to make their financial goals become a reality. It's incredibly satisfying to create a member-specific plan that encompasses protection through life insurance and savings goals that set the foundation for a secure financial future.
