serving in the United States Marine Corps, as well as being the first person in my family to graduate college and purchase a residence.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

spent three years as critical care flight paramedic, serving primarily west Georgia and east Alabama. I also spent two and a half years as a firefighter/paramedic in Coweta County and two years as a firefighter/paramedic in Beaufort, South Carolina.

Back when I was a flight paramedic, a coworker once asked me why I always brought my coffee from home instead of grabbing one from the coffee shop on the way in.
