Why I do what I do

Why I do what I do

I am so honored to make a living by helping others and their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to do what I do.

I serve members in…

Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…

life insurance, annuities, mutual funds and variable annuities.

I enjoy working with…

pilots, healthcare workers, young professionals and small-business owners.

I attended…

University of Southern New Hampshire. I graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

I am very proud of…

serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Before Modern Woodmen, I…

served in the United States Marine Corps. Then I spent five years as a firefighter and paramedic and three years as a critical care flight paramedic.

I chose Modern Woodmen because…

of the unique work culture, emphasis on doing the right thing for clients and significant impact I can make on individuals and their families.

The best part of my career is…

educating people on financial stewardship and how to use money to live a fulfilling life.

A favorite moment in my career was when…

I helped a client retire. My client thought she was going to work for the rest of her life. I provided her with peace of mind and an effective plan so she can retire at 67.

Also…

I love connecting my clients through fraternal events. Both my personal and professional networks are composed of diverse groups of powerful and talented individuals.

“I chose Modern Woodmen because the organization is built for its members. It's all about doing what's best for members, their futures and their communities.”

In my free time, you can find me…

at a downtown festival, the softball fields or playing outside with my family.

I’m passionate about…

providing for my family and creating memorable moments for my kids and friends.

My greatest blessing is…

surviving an unfortunate motorcycle accident.

My personal motto is…

Plato's Allegory of the Cave.

My hidden talent is…

I can braid hair, paint nails and apply makeup; the life of a girl dad!

610 Events, 6,461 Participants, 4,647 Volunteer Hours, $1,784,601 Total Impact. Large numbers, but an even impact right here in Georgia in 2025. This past week, I had the opportunity to partner with Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity alongside a great group of local business professionals from Local Leverage to give back through a hands-on service project right here in our community. This is just one of the many events that we hold This is what makes being part of a fraternal organization so meaningful. It’s not just about financial strategies—it’s about showing up, rolling up our sleeves, and making a difference where we live and work. At Modern Woodmen, we don’t answer to shareholders—we answer to our members and the communities we serve. That means our impact isn’t measured just in returns, but in the live, we help build and the communities we help strengthen. The question is: When is the last time your financial professional connected your plan to something bigger than just dollars and cents? If you’re open to a different kind of conversation—one that focuses on both your financial future and your community impact—I’d love to connect. 📩 Message me to learn more.

This week is EMS Week! and it hits a little different for me. Before I was a financial advisor, I was a paramedic… and a flight paramedic. Long shifts. Missed holidays. High-stress calls. Running on adrenaline, breakroom snacks and coffee. Doing whatever it took to show up when people needed help the most. That experience shaped how I see everything—including how I serve my clients today. Because here’s the truth… Most advisors don’t understand the Healthcare lifestyle: -The unpredictable schedules, lack of sleep -The burnout risk -The pension/benefit gaps -The need to make smart decisions with limited time I do, because I lived it. So, during EMS Week, I just want to say: Thank you to everyone still out there answering the call. And if you’re in healthcare and haven’t taken time to sit down and build a real financial plan… I’d be honored to help you put one together with someone who truly gets the lifestyle.

Proud to continue investing in my ability to better serve the families and now more business owners in our community. I recently completed Business Planning & Employee Benefits School continuing my commitment to bringing more value, education, and strategic planning to the people I work with every day. Some areas I was tested on include: - Strategic business planning to help owners protect, grow, and transition their business - Employee benefits strategies to attract, retain, and reward key employees - Retirement plan options for business owners and their teams (401(k), SIMPLE IRA, etc.) - Key person protection and succession planning strategies - Tax-efficient ways to structure benefits and compensation - Risk management solutions to help protect both the business and the people behind it Growth isn’t just about credentials; it’s about making sure the people who trust you are getting the best guidance possible. If you’re a business owner (or part of a growing team), this is an area many overlook, and it can make a huge difference in retention, protection, and long-term success. 👉 When is the last time you sat with a financial professional and reviewed your plan… if ever? Let’s change that. #ModernWoodmen #FinancialPlanning #BusinessOwners #EmployeeBenefits #ProfessionalGrowth #ServingTheCommunity

I’m honored to have earned the FFSC designation, the next step in my advising journey for fraternal members who hold both insurance and securities licenses. While licenses allow an advisor to operate, education is what allows an advisor to serve well. The FFSC coursework focuses on: • Principles of retirement planning • Investing retirement assets • Retirement income strategies • The financial planning process Continuing my education is part of my commitment to my clients to better understand their goals, evaluate solutions thoughtfully, and help bring clarity to their financial plan. This designation reflects a simple belief I hold: my responsibility doesn’t stop at being licensed; it continues through lifelong learning for the benefit of the people I serve.
