Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
I am so blessed to be able to make a living by helping others as well as their communities. Each day, I sit down and help people overcome financial concerns and obstacles. I also get to help my community with our fraternal programs and activities. It’s very rewarding to be able to do what I do.
I serve members in…
Russellville, Kentucky.
I can help you plan for life using a variety of tools, including…
life insurance and annuities.
I enjoy working with…
young families, baby boomers and anyone who's planning on retiring and has rollover options.
I attended…
Auburn Tigers High School in Auburn, Kentucky.
I am very proud of…
making Modern Woodmen's Century and President's Club every year and MDRT one year.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
worked 15 years at Kendall's manufacturing and nine years at a family business, Downey Trucking.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
they are different, because the people really care for our members. They want the best for all of our member clients. How many companies invite members to social, educational and volunteer events; do matching fund projects; build wheelchair ramps for those in need; and give free educational materials for the school systems? It was a great chance to make an impact in our community.
The best part of my career is…
helping my members for all stages of life. Whether it's planning for their retirement or protecting their families with life insurance, annuities or retirement, I feel good knowing I helped make an impact on their lives.
A favorite moment in my career was when…
I saw how much a small amount of life insurance money helps a struggling family. It enabled them to purchase a badly needed car and to catch up the mortgage payments so they could stay in their home.
Also…
this career enables me to meet so many good people every day and to feel good about what I do. My member clients are not just clients, they are my friends.
