Why I do what I do
Why I do what I do
This is my life's work. I love helping people discover the freedom that comes from having a solid financial plan. It's exciting to work with people in my community, giving them the peace of mind that comes from having the correct amount of protection and a personalized financial plan.
I serve members in…
I can serve members in Idaho and Utah. My office is in Plain City, Utah.
I enjoy working with…
firefighters, police officers and other public servants, families who have children with disabilities, and small-business owners.
I am very proud of…
For World Down Syndrome Day, Modern Woodmen sponsored for my wife and I to visit the school every day each week leading up to March 21. We talked to the student body not only about Down Syndrome but also other differences that make each person unique. We distributed colorful or crazy socks to the first-grade classes and invited all grades, faculty and staff to "rock their socks" on March 21 for World Down Syndrome Day. It was a great experience for us and for the students.
Before Modern Woodmen, I…
was an electrician. I worked my way into controls and automation, with a little bit of robotics. I enjoyed perfecting a process for maximum output and quality control. Now, I do that for my members to help them reach their financial goals.
I chose Modern Woodmen because…
before becoming members, my family experienced firsthand how much Modern Woodmen cares and gives back to the community. Our second son has mosaic Down syndrome. GiGi's Playhouse, a Down syndrome achievement center, is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers and donations. The center was a lifesaver in the first year after our son was born, helping us first cope with, then accept, and ultimately embrace the blessing of his diagnosis.
The best part of my career is…
building relationships with people my family and I see each day. I love learning about members' real needs and helping them gain peace of mind as we work toward their financial goals.
